Our teams typically play in a minimum of nine to ten tournaments during the season. The older teams travel outside the state to at least two or three highly competitive tournaments and national qualifier events.
The younger teams stay closer to home. All teams play in at least four local tournaments to meet regional qualifer needs.
The Splash U-14 team performed a rare and incredible feat at the Yakima Jamboree the last weekend of January. They played a perfect game. That's right, the score was 25-0! Head Coach Miles Kydd reports Splash won the first ball from a serve-receive, and then super-server Marie Pariseau stepped up to the line and reeled off 24 serves in a row. Her team kept the fire going and never made an error. Not something you see every day. However, checking the history books, in 2005, the same thing happened to another Splash U-14 team, playing a tournament in Riverside. A memorable moment for all.
