Spokane Splash Volleyball Club was formed in 1996 by Pat and Patty Murphy as a United States of America Volleyball Club (USAV) with the support of countless Spokane area families who believed in the mission of developing young female athletes. We are now entering our 14th playing season and have become one of the most successful "Juniors" clubs in the Northwest, consistently developing players who represent the Evergreen Region at the highest levels of amateur volleyball competition, including the Junior Olympics.
Splash is proud to offer the finest coaching staff in the region, all with collegiate playing or collegiate coaching experience. Our staff is committed to developing young women into ethical competitors. Dozens of our alumni have gone on to play in college at the Division I, II and III levels. Many of our current players have enjoyed high school championship success at the GSL, District, Regional and State levels. Our younger players have learned the basic skills to give them the confidence and the opportunity to play in school, while creating close friendships with girls in a positive environment.
Splash also differentiates itself by utilizing a double parent chaperone system when players travel out of town to ensure safety of the girls as well as careful supervision. Typically the older teams travel more, and the younger teams play closer to home. Parents are a big part of our club and often travel with the teams, support our players and coaches with cooler and booster activities and help run our organization. Come to tryouts and see what we are all about. We are excited for the 2010 season!
