The Splash U-17 Team struck Gold again at the Las Vegas Invitational placing 5th out of 100 teams. And last week during the Colorado Crossroads Tournament they won all their pool matches in two games advancing to the Gold round with the top 16 teams. They went on to take 8th overall within a field of 148 teams. Our U-18 Team and U-15 Team also attended. The U-18s played in the top bracket of Silver and our U-15 Team played in the "Open" level and had a great tournament!
Making a SPLASH in the Desert!
Our U-17 and U-18 National Teams struck gold in Arizona for their first tournament of the season at the Fiesta Classic in Tempe January 16-18th. Both teams powered through their first two days of pool play and qualified for the Gold Club Bracket, the top 7 teams out of 54. The matches brought some thrilling 3-set games and both teams fought hard, with eventual Champion, Four Corners, CO taking them out, putting the U-18’s in 5th and the U-17’s took 3rd overall! A great showing and a preview of the season to come.
